The world of experimental film was the central subject discussed this Wednesday at the 5th International Women’s Encounter in Cinema.

Patrizia Fregonese, director of «Where Have All Our Dreams Gone»; Elena Pardo, director of the Experimental Film Laboratory and Mariana Torres, director, and artistic researcher, were the panelists of the forum called «Experimentation as a mode of expression» where they shared their experiences and motivations to carry out their projects.

They highlighted the freedoms and permissions granted by this film from the field of creativity, that they said has to do with how to invest and play with traditional structures until the possibility of creating art with a low budget and offering a material away from the traditional.

Regarding the injection of resources, Elena Pardo stressed that productions can be assumed not only with money, but with equipment or anything that the project needs.
